Personal Spinoff Returns
The spreadsheet snip below shows my performance compared the the SPYG (Spyder Growth Fund). SPYG is an Index ETF based on the S&P 500 and has outperformed that average for the past five years. The goal is to have my holdings outperform that ETF as it would be my alternative if I were to stop investing in stocks individually and place my money into a mutual fund. The SPYG performance is calculated including dividends and is hypothetically purchased at the closing price of the day the holding was purchased.
